Model Agreement Early Years

All English providers of free higher education in the private, voluntary and self-employed (PVI) sectors are included in the Early Childhood Census. The DfE has published operational guidelines on how local authorities (IAs) and early childhood hires should qualify for early years. All local authorities should base their local agreement on the standard agreement of the Ministry of Education, unless they have a good reason not to do so. The DfE has published an evaluation of 8 studies on 30-hour early training requirements and the Early Innovators program. The study is being studied: the DfE published the results of an independent assessment of the early introduction of 30 hours of free childcare before the national rollout in September 2017.
