Career Progress (CPI) shares are awarded to eligible members in accordance with agreed guidelines, if the annual collective agreement so provides. Members who have the right to participate but do not receive a raise are entitled to a written declaration if they request it. In cases where a faculty member is promoted before receiving all the CPI applicable to his rank, the remaining increases are carried forward and allocated (up to a maximum of one c/f unit per year) until they are exhausted.
